Northwest Residential Heating and Cooling — legally Northwest Ventilation & Air Conditioning (1977) Ltd. — has been in business since 1977. That's nearly five decades of Winnipeg winters. Our address hasn't changed: 1865 Sargent Ave in St. James.

We're not a franchise. We're not part of a national chain. We're a local Winnipeg business that fixes heating and cooling systems in Winnipeg homes. That's the whole operation.

What We Do

We repair and install furnaces, air conditioners, and heating systems in residential and light commercial buildings in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We handle emergency calls when heat fails in winter. We do furnace repairs, furnace installations, AC repairs, and air conditioner installations.

We work on all major brands — Lennox, Carrier, Goodman, Rheem, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and most others you'll find in Winnipeg homes.

How We Work

We tell you the price before we start. That's been true since 1977 and it's still true now. If we come out, diagnose the problem, and the repair doesn't make economic sense given your furnace's age, we'll tell you that instead of doing the repair anyway.

Most of our customers found us through word of mouth. Neighbours telling neighbours about the furnace company on Sargent Ave. We've been doing business that way for nearly 50 years and it's worked.
